Jennifer Sherman, Owner

Photo After more than 22 years working in the Corporate world, Jennifer decided to branch out and focus on what appeals to her the most – the financial side of business. Her first real exposure to bookkeeping was, at 14 years of age, when she worked during the summers in her Parents' accounting business. That invaluable experience provided Jennifer the foundation needed to be successful in her various corporate roles and ultimately lead to the decision to start her own business in the Accounting field.

Jennifer's professional career has spanned everything from small start-ups to large corporations; each role with varying degrees of complexity. Her experience in a multi-practice environment enabled her to develop proficiency, end to end, in the financial and operational aspects of a business. In that type of environment, process and budget creation along with pro-rata and shared cost allocation planning were critical to the operation of the business. In addition, Jennifer prepared quarterly reports for individual practices, managed expenses and developed annual budgets.

To gain greater knowledge, Jennifer has returned to further her education at Certified General Accountants of Ontario, part-time, to work towards her CGA designation.
